“Hi, my name is Indra, and I have a pleasure to introduce you my psybient compilation VA Forest Garden released by Maia Brasil Records on 13th November 2014, compiled by myself.
After Paulo Saraiva (Spirithood) invited me to join Maia Brasil, I decided this compilation will be my first release for the label.
We released it for free because we wanted to promote and share good psybient music to the wider audience.
I contacted my favorite artists and most of them my close contacts for years, and they were all happy to share their beautiful music with the world. Nick Pilouris (Sonic Crime) did the great job with mastering and comments, and Luke Pearce (Splund) made a beautiful artwork.
My intention was to put more focus on permaculture, gardening, organic…with this compilation and also to point the connection between psychedelic culture and sustainable way of living. It’s interesting that most of the artists from the compilation are involved in permaculture too. Next step is presenting the artists and their tracks with the photos from their gardens, forest, nature…
