How long did you work on it ?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This release is a compilation of previous releases from different moments of my musical<br \/>\njourney. They all are collaborations with friends.<\/p>\n<p>Because of the nature of this release, i can\u2019t say exactly how long i worked on it,<br \/>\nSome tracks took me a week or two, some took a couple years.<\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 120px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=4213009865\/size=large\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/tracklist=false\/artwork=small\/transparent=true\/\" seamless><a href=\"https:\/\/nutekchill.bandcamp.com\/album\/the-best-of-earth-child-friends\">The Best Of Earth Child &amp; Friends by Earth Child<\/a><\/iframe><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Where do you gain your inspiration?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Life is the main one.<br \/>\nNature, emotions, teacher plants, people, travels, ceremony, the morning sky or a hot soup on a<br \/>\ncold day.<\/p>\n<p>I see creativity as the engine of evolution, so everything can be inspirational with a creative<br \/>\napproach.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>What are your favs tracks from this release ?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>They are all special to me cause they all refer to someone important in my life.<br \/>\nThe chosen Family with whom I made them.<br \/>\nAnd furthermore they give me a sort of land mark in time to preserve the memory of those<br \/>\nmoments shared with them.<br \/>\nEspecially in these times where we are not allowed to gather so easily.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>What brought you to music production , what are your main musical influences ?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I have spent my childhood in Ibiza, so music was an important part of the landscape.<br \/>\nEven though I have never learned any instrument, I had a real interest in music since an early<br \/>\nage.<br \/>\nThe club scene was already raging on the island in my early adolescence, so I quickly came in<br \/>\ncontact with different sounds and built a new understanding of music through dancing and<br \/>\nlistening.<br \/>\nI also started to spend more time in France for studies and was involved in the early 90s rave<br \/>\nscene.<br \/>\nAt the same time I had an increasing interest in psychedelic culture and consciousness expanding<br \/>\nexperiences. That somehow magically led me to a Goa trance party and started to collect some of<br \/>\nthis novel music for me.<br \/>\nAfter finishing my studies, I went back to the island in 94 and got involved in the outdoor party<br \/>\nscene and started djing.<br \/>\nPlaying psy music brought me to the need of understanding how it was made, and one day in<br \/>\n1999 I discovered that everything could be done with a computer with no need of spending<br \/>\nthousands on a full studio. That was a milestone that gave me the opportunity to continue<br \/>\nlearning till today.<br \/>\nI listen to a whole bunch of different genres, psytrance of course but also, spanish hip hop,<br \/>\nreggae, icaros, chill, meditation music.<br \/>\nI am in love with melodies and the way they have to transmit a message through emotions.<br \/>\nThat would be my main musical influence.<\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 120px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=10173690\/size=large\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/tracklist=false\/artwork=small\/transparent=true\/\" seamless><a href=\"https:\/\/nutekchill.bandcamp.com\/album\/the-best-of-earth-child\">The Best of Earth Child by Earth Child<\/a><\/iframe><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>What is your approach to sound synthesis and sound selection : melodies, drums, atmospheres Are they synthesized in the box?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I mostly work on my laptop with Logic so we could say in the box. But, like in this release ,<br \/>\nI also record a lot of organic elements.<br \/>\nVoices, guitars, flutes, drums, nature or everyday sounds; I then sit with all the ingredients and<br \/>\ntry to translate them into an emotive frequency.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Any particular equipment you prefer to use during music production?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A comfortable chair, peace of mind and some smokeable salad.<br \/>\nWithout those 3 elements no music will come out of me :)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nutekchill.bandcamp.com\/album\/shamanic-manifesto\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/f4.bcbits.com\/img\/a2053033288_16.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Who are the downtempo artists that inspire you?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>There are too many over the years. And I am a big music listener, I enjoy listening to<br \/>\nsomething new every day.<br \/>\nLately I really enjoy the vibes from Baptiste Sejourne &amp; Kama lila sol, Bes or Hugo Kant.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>What tendencies in psychedelic music do you see nowadays?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Well, with these challenging times for musicians in general, but especially for all dancefloor<br \/>\nfocused music, i start to see a lot of focus on exploring new elements, and in the same time<br \/>\nI also see a sort of return to the source.<br \/>\nI believe all forms of art are the mirror where collective consciousness can reflect on every one.<br \/>\nSo we can appreciate these tendencies not only in music, but also in many other parts of our<br \/>\ncurrent reality.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Do you have other musical projects ? What shall we expect from you in the future ?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I am currently finalizing a new Ep, called \u201cMedicine Emotions\u201d That will be released on<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/nutekchill.bandcamp.com\/\">Nutek Chill<\/a> most probably in the next 2 months.<br \/>\nI have also been working on some new tracks with \u201cOn The Ground\u201d and thinking about giving<br \/>\nbirth to a new project for all this material.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Thank you for your time.
